Welcome to the most convenient Campground near Pittsburgh!

Bathhouse and the sewer connections on the premium sites will be closed for the winter starting NOVEMBER 1st. The dump station will remain open for use until closure on November 15th.

After November 15th Mountain Top is open for weekly or monthly campers only Nov 15th to April 1st. Please call the office to make reservations during this time

Our Monthly Sites are currently full.

We no longer accept reservations for monthly sites until a space is available. There has been too many problems with guests needing to stay longer than anticipated. Resulting in major reservation conflicts. These sites are in high demand. If you would be like to be placed on a waiting list please call the office.

Whether it’s sight-seeing, family and friends, or a temporary work assignment that bring you to Pittsburgh, Mountain Top Campground is your home away from home. Many campgrounds will place you on a very small site, with little space available to relax outside your camper. Our sites are quiet and spacious, featuring beautiful views of the surrounding countryside that few other campgrounds near Pittsburgh can offer. Yet we are just 30 minutes from downtown and all the entertainment and activities of a beautiful and historic city. Please check out our gallery for views from the Mountain Top.

Our campground is great for RVs with lots of wide open sites and gravel pads. The mid-day sun at Mountain Top is very strong and the grounds do not offer any shade for tent camping. But if you get an RV it comes with an awning and A/C!

We are open year-round and offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates. We have both back-in and pull-through sites, 30 or 50 amp electric and water hookups. We are happy to offer full sewer hook up on all but 2 campsites! We offer a tank clean-out service  in winter season. There is also a bathhouse with laundry, it closes Nov1st along with our full sewer service.

Looking for things to do? All the attractions of Pittsburgh, including sports, shopping, museums, and fine arts events, are just 30 minutes from your campsite. See a Steelers, Penguins, or Pirates game, attend an event at the Convention Center, see a show in the Cultural District, or visit one of the renowned Carnegie museums. Enjoy all that downtown Pittsburgh has to offer while resting your head with the sounds of nature. Call us today at 724-224-1511.
